St Michael's Business Centre - A space for local businesses

Set back from the busier streets of Lyme Regis whilst still remaining central to the town is our "hive" of office space, artist's studios and multiple functional units that we rent to a wide range of local business and creatives. St Michaels Business Centre is well known in Lyme Regis as it used to be the main Primary School for the town, with many generations of our local families having attended. After the new school was built on a separate site, the building was owned and managed by West Dorset District Council until the Development Trust alongside Lyme Regis Town Council were able to raise the necessary funds to purchase the property and save it from being demolished.
 
Now converted into 7 units with a further 3 available thanks to an extension that was built during the Trusts ownership, this has become a much needed business space and has a diverse range of tenants from Film-makers and accountants through to a Bear and Doll hospital and an artisan Silversmith.

 

We currently have 1 large unit available to rent from early July 2024, and a storage cupboard which is currently available - get in touch if you are looking for a space to start or relocate your business in Lyme Regis.

We have 3 storage sheds and one storage cupboard based at the St Michael's Business Centre site.

Residential Properties

LRDT Property Management Ltd look after a number of residential properties that come up for rent occasionally. We like to let these on a long term basis and to people who live locally, so please get in touch if you would like to be added to our waiting list.

Commercial Property

We have a subsidised commercial/shop space that creates affordable bricks and mortar options in the middle of Lyme Regis. This is currently held by a long term tenant.
