What's New?    The Trust’s AGM was held on 1st November 2007 at 7.00pm at the Masonic Hall Broad St. Lyme Regis. The guest speaker was the Rt Hon Oliver Letwin MP, who talked about Affordable Housing and Community Land Trusts. The fourth Lyme Regis ArtsFest and Open Studios was held on 22 – 30 September 2007.     The Lyme Forward Lyme Regis Community Plan 2007 – 2008 was launched in June 2007 following an intense period of public consultation supported by the Trust. The Plan sets out how the people of Lyme and its surrounding areas would like the town to develop in the future.   Implementation of the Community Plan is overseen by the Lyme Regis Local Area Partnership (LAP) which is chaired by the Town Council and links into the West Dorset District and Dorset County Council development strategies. Ellen Rook has been appointed LAP coordinator responsible for mobilising the involvement of the communities and local organisations in implementing the community plan. She is based at the Trust’s office in St Michael’s Business Centre.
